    NTPC Workers Protest Against 12-Hour Shifts

    NTPC Workers Union held a meeting to address workers’ issues and employment concerns for local youth at the plant. Union Secretary Manoj Kumar Mahato highlighted exploitation by agencies, forcing workers to work 12-hour shifts while only paying for 8. The union plans to submit a demand letter to management and strongly opposes changes to labor laws by the central Government.
