CII Jharkhand celebrated World MSME Day 2025 by hosting a session focused on empowering MSMEs through financial access, skill development, digital tools, and policy support to boost growth, competitiveness, and sustainable development.

To mark World MSME Day 2025, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand organized a special session in Ranchi titled “Scaling MSMEs to New Heights”. The event focused on giving a boost to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by providing them knowledge about financial access, government schemes, certifications like ZED and LEAN, and skill development opportunities. The main aim of the session was to help MSMEs grow stronger, become more efficient, and stay competitive in the changing business world.

Diloo Parikh, Vice Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council and Director of Vaidehi Motors Pvt Ltd, stressed the importance of connecting MSMEs with financial support, government benefits, and digital tools. He said that better awareness and collective efforts are needed to overcome structural challenges in the MSME sector. Vishal Kumar Agarwalla, Vice Chairman of CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council and CEO of CTC Praezision Tools Pvt Ltd, highlighted the theme “Connect, Collaborate, and Grow” and praised the resilience shown by MSMEs, especially after the pandemic. He also appreciated the contribution of areas like Adityapur Industrial Area in Saraikela-Kharsawan, calling them industrial powerhouses. He further emphasized that innovation, digital adoption, skill training, and strong policies are essential to build a self-reliant and globally competitive MSME ecosystem. Rajiv Bansal, Convenor of the CII Jharkhand MSME Panel and Head of Supply Chain at Tata Motors Ltd, said MSMEs are not only the backbone of the Indian economy but also the drivers of future growth. He encouraged MSMEs to embrace digitization, quality frameworks like ZED and LEAN, and become more competitive. Tapas Sahu, Past Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council and CEO & MD of Highco Engineers Pvt Ltd, said World MSME Day is globally significant as it connects entrepreneurs with resources and opportunities. He encouraged more dialogue and collaboration among industry leaders, policymakers, and experts for sustainable development in the sector.

During the event, the CII Jharkhand Security Panel also announced its upcoming program, the “CII Jharkhand Suraksha Samvaad 2025,” which will take place from 30th October to 1st November in Adityapur. The event’s official website was launched by Neeraj Sinha, Head of Security at Tata Steel.
