Jamshedpur will host the two-days national executive meeting of the Indian National Steel, Metal, Metal Mines and Engineering Employees Federation on 25th and 26th August 20225 at Michael John Auditorium, Bistupur. More than 200 representatives from across the country attended the meet, which was chaired by General Secretary of the Federation, Raghunath Pandey.
Corporate Leaders and Unions will Participate
Federation President Dr. G Sanjeeva Reddy and Congress MP Tariq Anwar will reach Jamshedpur for the session. Tata Steel CEO and MD, T.V Narendran will address the gathering as chief guest. Union leaders from Tata Steel, Tata Motors, and other industrial establishments in the city will also be present. Speakers will highlight the need to redefine the role of unions in the age of digitalization and global competitiveness.

On the second day, Tats Steel CEO, T.V Narendran and Federation President Dr. G Sanjeeva Reddy will jointly launch the federation’s new website. The business agenda will include approval of past resolutions, financial reports, condolence references, and open discussions. The session will conclude with elections to announce the new executive body, the first since the federation was renamed in 2021 from its earlier title of Indian National Metal Workers Federation. After the conclusion of the session, the Jharkhand INTUC Executive Committee meeting will be organized in the afternoon. Representatives from all districts of Jharkhand and INTUC members from the city will participate in the Executive Committee meeting. The meeting will be addressed by INTUC National President Dr. G Sanjeeva Reddy.
