Tata Steel credited a total of Rs. 303.13 crore as annual bonus to 25,907 employees across its plants, divisions and offices on 6th September 2025. The amount was directly transferred to employees’ bank accounts, sparking celebrations among families and staff members.
Over 11000 Employees in Jamshedpur benefitted
Out of the total disbursement, employees in Jamshedpur alone received Rs. 152.44 crores. The bonus covered workers from the company’s flagship Jamshedpur plant and units such as the Tube Division, Tinplate, Tata Steel Gamharia, the Growth Shop, Wire Division, Kalinganagar plant, Ranchi and Bhubaneswar CR&E offices, as well as mines, collieries, and Bishnupur SSP.

Union Urged Staff to Save for Future
Confirming the transfers, Tata Workers’ Union President Sanjeev Choudhary Tunnu said all eligible employees had been credited and bonus slips distributed. He assured that any issues faced by employees would be resolved. At the same time, he urged workers to use the money carefully and keep a portion secured for their future needs.
