Allegations of Safety Negligence
Workers at the plant alleged that safety arrangements remain inadequate despite repeated incidents in the past. “The management takes work from us but does not ensure proper safety measures. Such accidents keep happening here,” said worker Sikandar Ansari, hinting at a pattern of negligence.
Sources claimed that the plant management is attempting to keep the incident under wraps to avoid scrutiny. Local labour representatives have demanded an immediate investigation and strict enforcement of safety norms to prevent recurrence of such accidents. The district administration is expected to send a report to the State Labour Department for further action.
