The Coal Mines Officer’s Association of India (CMOAI) will host a three-day conclave from 4th to 6th October 2025 at the Convention Hall of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) headquarters in Ranchi. The event will bring together senior officials, industry experts, and policy leaders to deliberate on challenges, reforms, and opportunities in the coal sector as India advances its “Viksit Bharat Mission.”

Theme and Key Focus Areas
CMOAI President D.N. Singh said the conclave’s theme “Coal Mines Officers: Roles and Responsibilities in Emerging Challenges and Opportunities for the Viksit Bharat Mission” reflects the need to realign the Coal sector’s role in India’s energy future. The discussions will cover diversification initiatives by the Ministry of Coal, transition from fossil fuels to Green Energy, Navigating Environmental and Forest Clearance challenges, and strengthening energy security.

Senior Participation and Annual Meeting
The conclave will see the presence of Coal India Chairman PM Prasad along with senior officers from CIL and SCCL. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the association will also be held during the event, providing a platform to discuss key welfare issues, including unified pension schemes, pay revisions, health insurance coverage, and skill development initiatives.
