The Jharkhand Government has issued a significant reshuffle in the Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department, transferring and posting several Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers across key positions. The notification, dated 26 September 2025, affects senior officers from the 1992 to 2017 batches and aims to streamline the functioning of the department ahead of the festive and plantation seasons.

Sanjeev Kumar Appointed PCCF & ED, Wasteland
Sanjeev Kumar (IFS, 1992), who was Member Secretary of the Jharkhand Biodiversity Board, has been posted as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) cum Executive Director, Wasteland Development Board, Ranchi. He will continue to hold the additional charge of APCCF (Planning) with headquarters in Ranchi.
