The Jharkhand Government has made it mandatory for all factories employing 500 or more workers to appoint a Welfare Officer recognised by the Labour Department through the Shramadhan portal. So far, 65 officers have been approved. These officers will ensure worker welfare and act as a bridge between management and authorities.
