The Head of Corporate Affairs at Adani Power Jharkhand, Mr. Sanjeev Shekhar, based in Ranchi, has received the coveted Inclusive Leadership Champion Award, organized under the aegis of the two-day Greentech Corporate Leadership Awards 2025 held in New Delhi. The award was presented to Mr. Shekhar jointly by Mr. Rajeev K. Dubey, Chief Adviser, Greentech Foundation and former CMD of Canara Bank; Major General Sanjay Christopher Meston (Retd.); and Mr. K. Sharan, Chief Executive Officer of Greentech Foundation. The honour was conferred upon Mr. Shekhar in the individual category of leadership. This marks the first time that an individual from the State of Jharkhand has received this prestigious recognition, making it a moment of pride for the entire region.

Recognition for Leadership Excellence
The two-day event served as a prominent platform for dialogue among policymakers, industry leaders, and sustainability experts, focusing on India’s industrial growth, energy transition, and corporate ethics. Other senior officials from the Adani Group also received awards at the event, including Mr. Sandeep Gautam, Head, Commercial & BD, Mining Tech Consultancy Services (MTCS), Dr. Hemant Sahu and Mr. Amit Kanujia from Adani Cement.

Mr. Sanjeev Shekhar is a distinguished corporate professional with over 31 years of versatile experience spanning Corporate Affairs, Communication, HR, and Public Relations. Currently leading corporate operations for Adani Power in Jharkhand, he plays a pivotal role in business development, Government liaison, and community engagement at the Godda Power Project. His rich career includes leadership positions at Essar Power, Reliance Industries, and Vaishnavi Communications, where he managed large teams and strategic communications in challenging environments.
A former journalist with Hindustan Times and IBN-7, he has interviewed top political leaders and reported on major industrial developments. A motivational speaker and author of three acclaimed books Beyond News, Deadlock, and Ride Above the Clouds, Mr. Shekhar has received several literary and professional awards, including the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Award and Sparsh Lifetime Achievement Award, exemplifying his excellence in both corporate and creative spheres
