Tata Steel Ltd on Thursday reported a 7% rise in crude steel production in India for the second quarter of FY26, reaching 5.67 million tonnes, driven by the resumption of normal operations following the completion of blast furnace relining at its Jamshedpur plant in Jharkhand. The company also saw an 8% quarter-on-quarter increase in production, according to its regulatory filing.
