EPFO Withdraws Rs. 10 Crore Interest from RIMS Account, High Court Stays Further Recovery
The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) withdrew Rs. 10 crore in interest from RIMS’s account for failing to deposit employees’ contributions between 2006 and 2008. Following the withdrawal, RIMS appealed to the Jharkhand High Court, which stayed further recovery, leaving Rs. 8 crore in the account.
