Jindal Steel on yesterday announced the appointment of Gautam Malhotra as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 28th October 2025. The decision was taken at a board meeting and formally communicated to the exchanges. Malhotra, who joined Jindal Steel in May 2024, will now lead the company’s strategic direction and oversee key operations across its integrated business segments.

Experienced Leader with Global Exposure
Over the past one and year, Malhotra has worked closely with the management team across core functions such as mining, production, HR, logistics, and technology, playing a central role in strengthening the company’s commercial and operational framework. His work in sales generation, logistics efficiency, digital adoption, and HR development has been noted as instrumental in improving business performance. An MBA graduate from Manchester Business School, University of Manchester (UK), Malhotra brings over 19 years of multi-sector experience spanning operations, supply chain, sales, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions.
