Implants Now Available at CCL Gandhinagar Hospital
Patients at CCL’s Gandhinagar Hospital no longer need to buy costly implants from outside vendors, as the hospital has made them available at its Amrit Pharmacy. Medical Head Dr. Raj Kishore said the implants are of high quality and fairly priced. Following media reports on overpricing, the management took action and ensured in-house availability. DDC Directs Hindalco to Promote Farming and Local Development in Mining Areas

Half-Burnt Body of Amrapali Company Supervisor Found Near Kubri River, Murder Suspected
A half-burnt body found near Kubri River in Hazaribagh’s Tatijharia area created panic on Friday. The deceased was identified as 50-year-old Shankar Prasad, a supervisor at Amrapali Company, who was home on leave. Police recovered personal belongings and suspect murder. Three Policemen, Including Inspector, Injured in Twin IED Blasts by Naxals in Saranda
Three police personnel, including CRPF Inspector Kaushal Kumar Mishra, were injured in two IED blasts triggered by Naxals in Babudera area under Jaraikela police station, West Singhbhum. The explosions occurred during an anti-Naxal operation on Friday evening. Mishra was admitted to Rourkela Apollo Hospital. Meanwhile, Naxals also blew up a culvert in Chhotanagra’s Ratamati amid their “Resistance Week.”
Ranchi Police Clash with Rahul Dubey Gang, Four Arrested in Early Morning Encounter
Around 3:30 AM on 10th October, Ranchi Police engaged in a gunfight with the Rahul Dubey gang during an anti-crime drive on the Ratu–Budhmu road. Two gang members, Sajan Ansari and Amit Kumar, were shot and injured, while two others were arrested later. Police fired 11 rounds in response to 15 fired by the criminals.
Eight Jail Officials Faced Action in Bribery Case at Birsa Munda Central Jail
The Jharkhand Government has taken action against eight officials of Birsa Munda Central Jail, Ranchi, over bribery charges involving visitors. Two employees were dismissed, four suspended, and show-cause notices issued to the acting jail superintendent and assistant jailer. Extortion Threat Followed by Shooting at Businessman’s House in Jamshedpur
Early morning gunfire hit businessman Harem Singh’s house in Jamshedpur when two bike-borne assailants fired shots and fled. Singh earlier received a Rs. 2 crore extortion call from gangster Prince Khan. Police recovered unclear CCTV images, received Singh’s written complaint, and are probing local links and Prince Khan’s role. Authorities say Prince Khan faces many cases; police teams continue the investigation.
Revenue Employee and RPF Constable Arrested in Separate Bribery Cases in Jharkhand
The Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested revenue employee Gyani Ram in Daru, Hazaribagh, while accepting a Rs. 3000 bribe to process a land mutation case. In another case, the CBI caught RPF constable Mohammad Israr from Chakradharpur’s Bandamunda post taking Rs. 15000 from a scrap trader. Both officials were arrested red-handed following verified complaints and have been booked under corruption charges.
