Ashok Kumar, former SDO of Hazaribagh, was arrested in Ranchi for allegedly plotting the death of his wife, Anita Kumari, who died from suspicious burns on 28th December. Following the rejection of his anticipatory bail, Kumar had gone underground but was apprehended while walking in a park. His arrest came after extensive police efforts.
