Led by President Paresh Gattani, Chairman of FJCCI, a 21-member delegation is on a 7-day Vietnam tour to explore trade and investment opportunities between Jharkhand and Vietnam.

In a major step towards fostering international business collaboration, the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) held a high-level bilateral meeting with senior officials of the Vietnam Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (VAFIE) in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Led by FJCCI President Paresh Gattani, the delegation discussed potential avenues for foreign investment in Jharkhand, focusing on key sectors such as minerals, agro-processing, manufacturing, energy, and tourism. The meeting was part of a broader international visit aimed at promoting India-Vietnam economic ties and positioning Jharkhand as an attractive investment destination.

During the meeting, the FJCCI team presented Jharkhand’s economic potential, resource richness, and industry-friendly environment. VAFIE officials appreciated the state’s strengths and showed keen interest in exploring mutually beneficial partnerships. Both sides agreed to exchange detailed proposals and work towards drafting a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize future collaboration. The proposed partnership aims not only to boost industrial development in Jharkhand but also to expand bilateral trade relations between India and Vietnam.

President Paresh Gattani described the meeting as a historic milestone in Jharkhand’s journey towards global trade integration, expressing confidence that this collaboration would accelerate the state’s industrial growth. VAFIE Chairman Dr. Nguyen Nhu Tuan echoed the enthusiasm, highlighting Vietnam’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with India.
FJCCI General Secretary Aditya Malhotra emphasized that the initiative would significantly contribute to both Jharkhand’s economic expansion and India-Vietnam diplomatic relations. The meeting saw participation from key FJCCI officials including Vice Secretary Vikas Vijayvargiya, Treasurer Rohit Agarwal, and several executive members. From the Vietnamese side, Vice Chairman Nguyen Noi, senior delegates Hoang Quang, Nguyen Ngoc, and General Secretary Ha Ba Tuan were among the attendees.
