First FIR Against CCL Officers Over Illegal Mining Deaths Sparked Outrage

PM’s Principal Secretary to Receive Honorary D.Sc from IIT Dhanbad

Government Relieved IPS Sanjay A. Lathkar for Central Deputation
The Jharkhand Government has issued a notification (No. 13/D1-104/2014-2733, dated 07th July 2025) today to relieve Dr. Sanjay A. Lathkar, the Additional Director General of Police (Rail), from his duties. As per the order of the Governor of Jharkhand, he will now join the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) on central deputation to take over the position of Inspector General (Security).
