Tata Steel’s Chief Resident Executive Sanjay Mohan Srivastava met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren his CM residence office on Kanke Road, Ranchi. The meeting was a courtesy meeting, highlighted the old and strong bond between the State Government and Tata Steel.

Though the Chief Minister’s office and company official did not make any official statement, experts believe the talks also touched on mining, industrial expansion, and community welfare. Tata Steel, with its Jamshedpur steel plant and many mining projects, continues to play a key role in Jharkhand’s industrial growth. This meeting took place when recently the lease of Tata Steel’s Iron Ore Mines (Vijay-II) expired and the villagers protested for reopening of the mines.
