Jharkhand Allotted 9,748 Acres for Industries, 1,695 Acres Still Open for Investment
Jharkhand has allotted 9,748.56 acres of land to 952 companies through JIADA, with 1,695.58 acres still available for new projects. Of 3,518 applications, 1,284 were rejected and 1,282 are pending. Adityapur leads with 4,763 acres allotted and 1,179 acres vacant, remaining the state’s manufacturing hub with 1,533 operating units and strong growth potential.
MoU Dates for Rs. 26,000-Crore Investment Proposals in Jharkhand Still Pending
Despite investment proposals worth Rs. 26,000 crore received during the Kolkata Summit, the State has yet to finalize dates for signing MoUs. Industry department officials say proposals have reached the Chief Secretary, but no dates are fixed. Company representatives have been visiting the department for two–three months awaiting confirmation.

IICM Contract Workers Warn of Agitation if Demands Are Ignored Within 15 Days
