B. Sairam, currently CMD of Northern Coalfields Limited, has been recommended by the PESB as the next Chairman of Coal India Limited after interviews on Saturday. He will assume charge after the tenure of the present Chairman, P.M. Prasad, ends on 31st October 2025.
