Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Chief Secretary Visit Delhi for Consultations

Jharkhand Mines Dept. Collected Record Revenue, ₹2,490 Crore from Cess
Jharkhand’s mining department set a new record with ₹6,550 crore revenue till 18 Sept 2025, including ₹4,060 crore royalty and ₹2,490 crore cess under the JMBL Act. DMFT received ₹941 crore and NMET ₹66 crore. Coal contributed the highest cess (₹2,181 crore), followed by iron ore. Chaibasa, Dhanbad, and Pakur led royalty collections.
ACF Accuses Three Senior IFS Officers of Harassment, Threatens to Move Court
ACF Avinash Kumar Parmar in Hazaribagh accused three senior IFS officers of mental and physical harassment tied to a Pakri Barwadih coal project probe. Jharkhand Posts ₹13,564 Crore Revenue Surplus in FY23, Ranks 4th: CAG

Index of 8 Core Industries Grew 6.3% in August 2025
India’s ICI rose 6.3% in August 2025 year-on-year, led by steel (14.2%), coal (11.4%), and cement (8.1%). Fertilizers, electricity, and refinery products also grew, while crude oil and natural gas declined. Cumulative April–August growth stood at 2.8%.
